ABOUT THE BOOK This book is designed to fulfil a historical necessity too. To interprete Gandhi is to interpret the Himalayas. His Collected Works are not complete. It deals with the sentient self not spiritual one. To him mind is individualistic and hence defies universalisation, still we try to bring to light the uncultivated traits of Gandhi’s personality. ABOUT THE AUTHOR Jaladhar Pal has graduated from Presidency College, Calcutta; had his Master's and Ph.D. degree from Calcutta University.
