RETURN POLICY
At Rekhtabooks.com, we strive to ensure that all of our customers are completely satisfied with their purchases. If for any reason you are not satisfied, you can reach out to us with your queries.
If you’re looking to return or exchange your order for whatever reason, we're here to help! We offer free returns or exchanges within 5 days of receiving your order. You can return your product for store credit, a different product, or a refund to the original payment method. The following conditions must be met for a return to be accepted for both Prepaid & COD Orders:
Books:
- Books must be in their original condition, with no marks or damage to the pages or cover. On Books you can only exchange the items or get a replacement for the same product only if the tags intact, unused/unread items
- If books are received damaged or with missing pages, then please contact us within 5 days of delivery of the product to raise a return request for replacement.
- If you have received a wrong product or different book then you will be provided a replacement for the same product ordered. Please raise complaint within 5 days
- All the print on demand books are non returnable.
Merchandise:
- Merchandise such as tote bags, frames, postcards, etc. must be in original condition, unused, and in original packaging. Tags intact.
- If merchandise is received damaged, please contact us within 5 days of receipt to initiate a return or exchange.
- Print-on-demand T-shirts and hoodies are eligible for replacement. Please contact us within 5 days of receipt to request a replacement
Exceptions:
- Custom or personalized orders are non-returnable and non-refundable.
- Digital products, such as e-books, are non-returnable and non-refundable.
- Any discounts applied will be null & void and returns shall be made on actual amount paid
To initiate a return, please contact us on email, WhatsApp or call, with your order number and the item(s) you would like to return. We will provide you with further instructions on how to proceed with your return.
Refund Mechanism:
- For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, customers can get the refund only in form of Gift Cards that can be used for future purchase.
- Please note, direct refund of cash or source account isn’t available in case of COD orders, due to third party COD transactions.
- For prepaid Orders -
- Refund is credited directly to the source account (Netbanking/UPI/Credit Card/Debit Card etc.)used by the customer at the time of purchase.
- In case of refund transaction failure due to invalid source account details, gift card for equivalent value shall be issued to the customer’s email ID.
In case the payment is made by Credit/Debit Card, Net Banking or Third Party Wallet, you may get the refund within 7 to 15 working days. Kindly note that there may be delays in refund as they're handled by the Bank.
Foreign Orders vs Indian Orders?
- Foreign orders No refund or replacement is available on Orders shipped outside India, due to high shipping & logistic costs involved. We ensure absolute compliance to quality before shipping on all such orders. Please contact us on
