Ramalkhuna

‘रमलखुणा’ या पुस्तकात ‘प्रवासी’ आणि ‘इस्किलर’ या दोन दीर्घ कथा आहेत. वाचकांना गुंतवून टाकणाऱ्या आणि त्याची उत्कंठा वाढवणाऱ्या जीएंच्या विशिष्ट चित्रमय शैलीमध्ये त्या लिहिल्या आहेत. दोन्ही कथा स्वतंत्रपणे लिहिलेल्या असल्या तरी दोन्ही दीर्घकथांमध्ये अनंताच्या दिशाहीन प्रवासाला निघालेला प्रवासी आहे. हा प्रवासी कधीकधी जीवनाच्या अर्थाच्या शोधात, कधी वासनेसाठी, तर कधी अज्ञात कारणास्तव प्रवास करत राहतो. या प्रवासात नवनवीन प्रकारचे शहाणपण शिकत राहतो. ‘प्रवासी’ मृत्यूचा संदेश देते, जो अपरिहार्य आहे, इतर काहीही कायमस्वरूपी नाही. ‘इस्किलार’ कथेच्या अखेरीस प्रवाशाला जाणवते की, माणसाच्या जीवनात नियतीचे स्थान महत्त्वाचे आहे. नियतीपासून दूर पळण्याचा प्रयत्न केला तरी अखेरीस विधिलिखित टळत नाही. The book 'Ramalkhuna' contains two long stories 'Pravasi' and 'Iskilar'. They are written in Jeen's distinctive pictorial style that engages the reader and heightens his curiosity. Although both stories are written independently, both feature a traveler on a directionless journey into infinity. This traveler continues to travel sometimes in search of the meaning of life, sometimes for lust, sometimes for unknown reasons. New types of wisdom are learned in this journey. 'Passenger' conveys the message of death, which is inevitable, nothing else is permanent. At the end of the story 'Iskilar', the traveler realizes that destiny plays an important role in human life. Even if you try to run away from destiny, in the end the written law cannot be avoided.
