It starts with Ajowan and end with Vinegar. Chapter III gives a malady-wise prescription of over 200 maladies. Chapter IV has a list of handy medicines that should always around in the face of an emergency. It is hoped this little book, by being very brief and putting up definite prescriptions of bazaar drugs, may be of help to practitioners. About the Author:-Lieutenant Colonel Gordon Travers Birdwood MD was born in 1867 at Khadki, Mahārāshtra, India. He was the son of Herbert Birdwood and Edith Impey. He was educated at Clifton College, Clifton, Bristol, Gloucestershire. He graduated from Peterhouse College, Cambridge University, Cambridgeshire with a Master of Arts (MA), with a Doctor of Medicine (MD), and with a Diploma in Public Health (DPH). He was the British Army officer. He gained the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the Indian Medical Service. He served in the Arbor Expedition, where he was mentioned in dispatches.
