और इन तीन घंटों में जो होता है उसके पीछे कुछ मील दूर बसे एक क़स्बे की बीस साल लम्बी दास्तान है। वह दास्तान जिसमें बलखाती, उबाल-भरी प्रेम कहानियाँ हैं। वह दास्तान जिसमें बदलती दुनिया के साथ भागते-हाँफते क़स्बाई सपनों का बेमानीपन है।
वह दास्तान जहाँ ज़िन्दगी के ख़ालीपन को भरने के लिए रास्ते भी ऐसे चुने जाते हैं जो कहीं नहीं ले जाते। वह दास्तान पीपलटोले के उन तीन लड़कों की है जिनकी आँखों पे ज़िन्दगी ने ऐसा चश्मा चढ़ा दिया है कि उन्हें अपने चारों तरफ़ सब कुछ बस ग़लत होता दिखाई दे रहा है। आगे वही है जो लूट रहा है, तो हम भी क्यों ना लूटें?

Aage vahi hai jo lut raha hai, to hum bhi kyon na luten?
