चन्द्र सिंह गढ़वाली (1891-1979) भारतीय स्वतंत्रता सेनानी, बहादुर सिपाही और महान देशभक्त थे। उन्हें 'पेशावर का महानायक' कहा जाता है। वे अंग्रेजों के समय की भारतीय सेना के वीर सिपाही थे, लेकिन जब अंग्रेजों ने उन्हें स्वतंत्रता सेनानियों पर गोलियाँ चलाने का आदेश दिया, तो उन्होंने इससे साफ इनकार कर दिया। अंग्रेजों के विरुद्ध बगावत करने की उन्हें सजा मिली और बाद में वे गांधी जी से प्रेरणा लेकर देश को स्वतंत्र कराने में जुट गए। आज़ादी के बाद भी वे समाजसेवा करते रहे। उत्तराखंड में विकास की योजनाएँ तैयार करने व उनके क्रियान्वयन में उन्होंने सराहनीय योगदान दिया।
