ABOUT THE BOOK In almost seventy-five years after Independence our policy makers have been focusing on food security but with an increase in viral and bacterial diseases and erratic supply chain, nutritional security has gained credence. Moreover, the present covid-19 pandemic has highlighted a need to take proactive measures to tackle unprecedented situation like this, which we have never faced in last seven decades of independence. Keeping this in view, the present book is an effort to provide valuable insights in nutritional well-being of society. The SDGs aim to end all forms of hunger and malnutrition by 2030, making sure all people, especially children, have sufficient and nutritious food all year.
