एडवर्ड जेम्स 'जिम' कॉर्बेट (२५ जुलै १८७५-१९ एप्रिल १९५५) हे अँग्लो-इंडियन गृहस्थ उत्कृष्ट शिकारी होते. सुरुवातीला मागकाढे असलेले कॉर्बेट पुढे (वन व वन्यप्राणी) संरक्षणवादी, लेखक व निसर्गवादी म्हणून प्रसिद्धी पावले. भारतातील नरभक्षक वाघ व बिबटे यांच्या त्यांनी बऱ्याच मोठ्या संख्येने केलेल्या शिकारींमुळे जिम कॉर्बेट विशेष प्रसिद्ध झाले. 'बंगाली वाघ' या नष्ट होत चाललेल्या प्रजातीच्या संरक्षण व वर्धनासाठी आता उत्तराखंड म्हणून ओळखल्या जाणाऱ्या राज्यात एक 'राष्ट्रीय संरक्षित (राखीव) उद्यान' निर्माण करण्याच्या कार्यात त्यांनी महत्त्वपूर्ण भूमिका बजावली. जिम कॉर्बेट यांच्या सन्मानार्थ इ.स. १९५७ मध्ये याच राष्ट्रीय उद्यानाचे 'जिम कॉर्बेट राष्ट्रीय उद्यान' असे नव्याने नामकरण करण्यात आले.
