Since joining a Gurkha Regiment he in common with others have found the scarcity of books on Khaskura a great disadvantage to the study of the language. For some years he has been collecting notes and data and embodied these notes and data in a small book at the instigation of his friends, in the hope that they may be of use to officers joining Gurkha regiment. The writer has not touched on Limbu or Raikura, and men from Eastern Nepal will probably use different Khaskura words to those which are shown in this book.
