About The Book: This book presents a concealed segment of Anglo-Indian history, aiming to provide a detailed account of the final French struggle for dominance in Southern India until September 1783. It also delves into the successful endeavors of the French during the Revolutionary and Napoleonic Wars to disrupt British trade in the Indian Seas, followed by the British capture of the Isles of France and Bourbon, which effectively halted these efforts. These soldiers belonged to the native princes who were perceived as potential adversaries to the British towards the end of the 18th century.
