Dusara Samana

‘दुसरा सामना’ हे सतीश आळेकरांचं १९८९ साली प्रकाशित झालेलं एक वेगळ्या प्रकारचं नाटक आहे असं म्हणता येईल. महाराष्ट्रातील साखर कारखानदारीतील ग्रामीण राजकारणावर आधारित असलेल्या ‘सामना”” या गाजलेल्या चित्रपटाचा उत्तरार्ध म्हणजे हे नाटक असं म्हणता येईल. ‘सामना’ चित्रपटात मारुती कांबळे नावाचं एक पात्र आहे. संपूर्ण चित्रपटात या पात्राभोवती एक गूढ वातावरण तयार केलेलं आहे. चित्रपटातला मास्तर गावच्या सरपंचाला, “मारुती कांबळेचं काय झालं? हा प्रश्न सतत विचारताना दिसतो. या प्रश्नाचं उत्तरच जणू आळेकरांच्या ‘दुसरा सामना” – या नाटकात मिळतं. It can be said that 'Dusara Saamna' is a different type of play by Satish Alekar published in 1989. This play can be said to be the second half of the popular movie 'Samana' which is based on the rural politics in the sugar mills of Maharashtra. In the movie 'Saamna' there is a character named Maruti Kamble. An atmosphere of mystery is created around this character throughout the film. In the film, the master told the village sarpanch, “What happened to Maruti Kamble? This question seems to be asked continuously. The answer to this question seems to be found in Alekar's play 'Dusara Saamna'.
