Sharma (Born: 1957) did his M.A. and Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of North Bengal, Darjeeling, West Bengal. He is an Education Officer in the Central Board for Workers Education, under the Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of Indian at Siliguri. His area of specialisation is Industrial Sociology, Tea Plantation Workers of East North-East India, Himalayan Society of Eastern Himalayas and North Eastern Himalayas and Labour Education. He has already published six book to his credit among which Tea Industry in India. An Introduction, Himalayan Tea Plantation Workers, Socio-Economic lfei of Cinchona Plantation Workers are very important publications. Presently, Dr. Sharma is actively engaged in a research study on Globalisation and Tea Plantation Workers in Eastern Himalayas., Shri T.C. Das (Born: 1950) did his M.A. in Economics from the University Guwahati (Assam). He is Deputy Director of Central Board for Workers Education in the department of Administration at Nagpur-the national headquarters of CBWE. He published "The North East Mirror" from Guwahati when he was the Zonal Director of North East Zone of CBWE. Presently Shri Das is associated with administrative affairs of CBWE.
