Nida Fazli was a celebrated Urdu and Hindi poet, writer, and lyricist known for his simple yet deeply emotional poetry rooted in everyday life. Born on 12 October 1938 in Delhi and raised in Gwalior, he was inspired by the humanistic traditions of Kabir, Meer, and Rahim. Along with his literary work, he became a renowned lyricist in Hindi cinema, writing memorable songs like “Hoshwalon Ko Khabar Kya,” “Tu Is Tarah Se Meri Zindagi Mein,” and “Aa Bhi Jaa.” From the 1980s to the 2000s, his poetry and songs left a lasting impact on audiences across generations.
