Udhavastha Vishwa – Gangadhar Gadgil

उद्ध्वस्त विश्व’ हा कथासंग्रह प्रथम १९८२ साली प्रकाशित झाला. आधीच्या आवृत्तीनुसार ‘संसार’ या कथेसह ‘नवा अंकुर’ ही कथाही आता नव्या आवृत्तीत समाविष्ट केली आहे. एखाद्या कथेत कधी स्त्री केंद्रस्थानी असते तर दुसऱ्या एखाद्या कथेत पुरुष केंद्रस्थानी असतो. मात्र गाडगीळ आपल्या कथेत स्त्री आणि पुरुष दोघांनाही केंद्रस्थानी ठेवतात. त्यामुळेच त्यांच्या कथांतून माणसांचं, मानवी संबंधांच एक स्वतंत्र जग उभं राहतं. The collection of stories 'Udbhamt Vishwa' was first published in 1982. Along with the story 'Samsar' as per the earlier version, the story 'Nava Ankur' has also been included in the new version. Sometimes a woman is at the center of a story, while at other times a man is at the center of a story. But Gadgil places both men and women at the center of his story. That's why a separate world of people and human relations stands in their stories.
