M.Phil. and Ph.D. in sociology at the Centre for the Study of Social Systems, School of Social Sciences, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. He started his academic career in Sociology in 2012 at the postgraduate level courses in the Central University of South Bihar and participated in several national and international conferences, seminars and workshops. He has also contributed research articles in various reputed journals such as Social Action, Economic and Political Weekly, Indian Anthropologist, Mainstream, etc.His major area of specialization includes Social Exclusion, Dalit Studies, Social Stratification andMarginal and Weaker Section of Society.
