He hails from Bhalwal, District Sargodha, Pakistan. Having spent twenty-four years in Oslo (Norway), Madeira and Lisbon (Portugal), and Dublin (Ireland), he embarked on his poetic journey in 1997, with a formal beginning in 2002. He earned his Master’s degree in Urdu Literature from Sargodha University and served as the General Secretary of Halqa-e-Arbab-e-Zauq, Oslo (Norway).\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn January 2016, his first poetry collection, Koi Koi Baat, was published and received widespread acclaim in literary circles. Over the years, he has established a distinctive presence in contemporary Urdu poetry and has frequently participated in poetry symposiums and literary events across the United States, Canada, Europe, and the Gulf, where his poetry has been well received by diverse audiences. In April 2025, he was also invited to Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA, to participate in a literary event, adding another significant milestone to his international literary journey.
