समाजपरिवर्तनाच्या लाटा नित्यशः उठतात. थोड्या पुढे सरकतात आणि शेवटी विरून जातात. पाण्याच्या त्या खळग्यातून नवी लाट उठते, तीही तोच क्रम चालू ठेवते. माणसांचंही तेच असतं कुणी सगळ्या समाजाला ढवळून परिवर्तनाला वेग आणतात, काही थोडी सामान्य माणसंही आपल्या आवाक्याप्रमाणे समाजाला थोडाफार वेग देतच असतात. तेव्हा त्यांचा त्यांच्या परिस्थितीशी झगडा चालू असतो. ती परिस्थिती थोडी बदलते, मागून येणान्या पिढीच्या पचनी पडते. ती पिढी जुन्या पिढीला मागे सारते. तिने परिवर्तित केलेल्या परिस्थितीशी संघर्ष करते. तो संघर्ष पुन्हा परिवर्तनाला कारण होतो. काल जे सन्मानित ते उद्या उपेक्षित हा चक्रनेमिक्रम चालू राहतो.
