About the book:- This book is an account of emerging India- Nigeria trade relations over the past decade in three major sectors, namely, energy, health and ICT. It studies how an increased engagement between the two partners has eventually contributed to an evolved and mature India-Nigeria trade relations. This book emphasizes the role of Nigeria in bridging the shortfall in India's energy requirement and thus contributing significantly to India's energy security programme. On the other hand, India has proven to be strategic partner for Nigeria in the fields of healthmainly pharmaceutical and information technology. This work examines the politico-diplomatic and economic relations between India and Nigeria and a looks into their enhanced engagement that will heighten and redefine economic relations between the two countries. The underlying argument of the book is that economic cooperation between the two partners would further strengthen their political relations and bring mutual benefits to both the countries. About The Author:- Ms. Sanju Prasad has completed her Masters in Sociology (Honors) in 2010, from the Department of Sociology, University of Mumbai. She has recently been awarded M.Phil degree from the Centre for African Studies, University of Mumbai.
