About The Author:- Jitha S.R. is currently Associate Professor at the Department of International Relations, Central University of Kerala, Kasaragod. Prior to joining the Department she worked as Associate Professor under various colleges of the SreeNarayana Trusts, affiliated to the University of Kerala. She took her M.A, M.Phil and Ph.D in Political Science from the Department of Political Science, University of Kerala, Kariavattom and is having more than twenty years of teaching and research experience. She is having a bright academic record and has contributed extensively in the area of bureaucracy. Her well known work is Higher Bureaucracy and Development (2007). She has presented a number of papers in national and international seminars and published articles in various national and international journals and edited volumes. She served as the co-ordinator of national seminars and did various research projects on bureaucracy and human rights, including that of the UGC. She is also having additional masters in Public Administration and a P.G. Diploma in Human Rights. Reinhart, Philip did his B.A. and M.A. Degree in Political Science from the University of Kerala with Silver Medal and Gold Medal respectively; and M.Phil. Degree in Politics and International Studies from the Pondicherry Central University with Gold Medal. He submitted his Ph.D thesis on the topic “Globalisation, State and Commodification of Water: A Study of Jalanidhi Project in Kerala” to the University of Kerala with Junior Research Fellowship (UGC). He is having a consistently brilliant academic record since his school days and is having additional masters in Public Administration with UGC and a Diploma in Journalism. He has to his credit a number of papers in various national seminars and contributed articles in many national and international journals and chapters in various edited volumes. He is the recipient of various national level scholarships, best paper presentation awards and winner of many national level essay competitions. He also bagged the CSR Super Brain Super Personality Intellectual Trophy in April 2009. He made an indelible mark in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities also.
