About The Author:- Dr. Akbar Husain is currently serving as Professor in the Department of Educational Psychology and Counselling, Faculty of Education, University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur. Before moving to University of Malaya in November 2005, he was Professor and Chairman at the Department of Psychology, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, India. Dr. Husain has published more than 150 articles and book chapters. He has authored and co-authored, and edited and co-edited 17 books. He has standardized numerous psychological tests. He was the Editor of the Journal of the Indian Academy of Applied Psychology (2002-2005). Dr. Husain is pursuing researches in the fields of Spiritual Psychology, Positive Psychology, and Counselling Psychology.Professor Dr. Noraini Idris is the Dean, Faculty of Education, University of Malaya. She has been involved in mathematics education since 1982. She has been Head of Department of Mathematics and Science Education for five years. She has been teaching in schools teaching Mathematics and Physics, trained pre-service and in-service teachers designing instructional activities and organized several workshops, forums, and colloquiums for Ministry of Education, Public and Private Universities local and International. She has been Chairing for Ministry of Education and Dewan Bahasa and Pustaka to design curriculum including advising and evaluation on instructional technology especially for mathematics teaching materials, school-based assessment, incorporating cooperative learning techniques in mathematics classes, problem solving, and the development of instructional materials that actively involve students in the exploration of mathematical ideas. She has published a variety of professional articles, books, and instructional materials for students and teachers. She has presented papers in the national and international conferences - Brunei, Thailand, Singapore, Australia, United States of America and others and also conducting research with Ministry of Education, MIMOS, UNESCO, British Council, Sumitomo Foundation, Japan and others.
