Chandramadhaviche Pradesh

केवळ कवी ग्रेस यांच्या निर्मितीचाच नव्हे तर समग्र मराठी साहित्यातील ‘प्युअर पोएट्री’च्या कक्षेचा परीघ विस्तीर्ण करणारा हा कवितासंग्रह १९७७ साली प्रथम प्रसिद्ध झाला. यातील कविता काव्यास्वादाबरोबरच काही महत्त्वाचे प्रश्न निर्माण करते. संगीताच्या निकट जाणाऱ्या या तरल कवितांचे वैशिष्ट्य म्हणजे मानवी आयुष्यातील अपरिहार्य प्रश्नांची कठोर समंजस जण आणि क्षणाच्या संचितावर सिद्धांताचे दडपण न येऊ देणारी नितळ अभिव्यक्ती. ग्रेस यांचे निकटचे स्नेही चित्रकार सुभाष अवचट यांनी या संग्रहाला काढलेली रेखाचित्रे आणि मुखपृष्ठ या गोष्टी या संग्रहाच्या अविभाज्य अंग आहेत. This collection of poems was published for the first time in 1977, expanding the circle of 'pure poetry' in Marathi literature as a whole, not only the work of poet Grace. This poem raises some important questions along with poetic taste. These fluid poems, approaching music, are characterized by a smooth expression of the inevitable questions of human life with a hard sense and unencumbered by theory on the accumulation of the moment. An integral part of the collection are the illustrations and the cover by Grace's close friend, painter Subhash Awachat.
