श्रीराम वर्मा जन्म : 18 जुलाई, 1935, पतनई (दोहरीघाट), मऊ।
शिक्षा : एम.ए. (हिन्दी) 1961 ई., इलाहाबाद विश्वविद्यालय, पी-एच.डी. 1986 ई., गोरखपुर विश्वविद्यालय।
सम्पादन : 'विवेकानन्द साहित्य'-10 खण्ड, 'नई कविता', 'अंग्रेजीहिन्दी कोश' (हिन्दी साहित्य सम्मेलन) में सम्पादन-सहयोग। 'माध्यम' (बालकृष्ण राय) के सहायक सम्पादक। उ.प्र. हिन्दी ग्रन्थ अकादमी के एक सम्पादक।
प्रकाशित कृतियाँ : आलोचना : 'संशय की एक रात : अभिव्यक्ति का स्वरूप'। कविता : ग्रीनविच, शब्दों की शताब्दी, कालपात्र, आत्म-कथा, बूंद की यात्रा। कहानी : अन्तरिक्ष यात्रा। अज्ञेय द्वारा सम्पादित 'चौथा सप्तक' के एक कवि।
काव्य नाटक : 'नन्हे कन्धे नन्हे पैर' का आज़मगढ़, इलाहाबाद, जम्म, कश्मीर, हिमाचल प्रदेश एवं पंजाब में मंचन।
