The first section of the book, are stories about Maharajas from India, stories span from 'The Kashmir story' to “The Vicereine's Ring”, that also provide a window into British lifestyle in India. The second section of the book is about Presidents, Prime Ministers and visiting dignitaries 'The Russian Encounter', draw the attention of the reader. ABOUT THE AUTHOR Aparna Joshi is a Writer, Researcher and keen Traveller, whose travels within India and overseas, in the U.K, Austria, Germany, France, Italy and Spain drew her to ancient sites, monuments, museums and places of worship. A visit to the Peace Palace at The Hague led to the publication of her first book on Kindle, 'The ICC comes of Age at 18', tracing the establishment of the International Criminal Court on 1st July 2002 at The Hague under the Statute of Rome, now adopted by 129 countries in November 2019, on the 5th of September 2020, she completed her Second book on Kindle called 'India and Her Neighbours: Past, Present and Future'. This book explores India's Foreign Policy, its equation with her many Neighbours. Her papers have been published on Research Gate.net and Academia. They focus on Ancient History , Mughal Miniature and Global Art in the Medieval Period, Social Musicology, Women in History, functioning of International Organisations, Political Leadership and Cold War. She has successfully completed Certificate Courses from i) Stanford University on Nuclear Terrorism and Cold War ii) Harvard University on Women in History; From Handel to Mozart Opera in the 17th Century iii) George Town University Terrorism and Counter Terrorism.
