अण्णासाहेब रातंजनकर ऊर्फ श्रीकृष्ण रातंजनकर हे विष्णू नारायण भातखंडे यांचे शिष्य आणि संगीत ज्ञानसंचिताचे वारसदार. भातखंडे यांचे कार्य समर्थपणे पुढे चालवणे हे अण्णासाहेबांचे जीवितकार्य झाले होते. हे संगीतकार्य तसेच पुढे चालावे असे ठरवून त्यांनी जे आपले शिष्य घडवले त्यातीलच चिदानंद नगरकर, एस. सी. आर. भट आणि के. जी. गिंडे हे तिघे होते. त्यांनी पुढे चालवलेल्या संगीतकार्याची आणि त्यांच्या व्यक्तिमत्वाची ओळख या पुस्तकात सदाशिव बाक्रे यांनी करून दिली आहे. रातंजनकरांच्या शिष्यपरंपरेत असलेल्या दिनकर कायकिणी यांचे सदाशिव बाक्रे हे शिष्य.
