About The Author:- Dr. R.C. Majumdar, born in 1888 in East Bengal (present day Bangladesh) in village of Khandarapara of Faridapur District. He graduated after learning in Dhaka and Calcutta. He was ranked 1st in graduate studies in the university. He became a teacher and took to research, and got a doctorate. When the University of Dhaka was started in 1921, he became its first professor. Eventually he became the vice-chancellor of the university. He was great scholar and a genius.
