ABOUT THE BOOK The North East India comprising eight states is located in the easternmost part of India bordering to different international countries and is the home to different variegated tribes, flora and fauna. These people of north east India are living from time immemorial. They have their own language, faiths, beliefs and practices. Being indigenous group of people, they have their time tested and age old ethnomedical beliefs and practices. At one point of time when there was no modern medical facilities, the people entirely resort to such indigenous healing system.
