This is a handpicked volume of Persian Sufi Qawwali’s by Suman Mishra. Sufi poetry has enormous impact throughout the subcontinent, and it has played a vital role in maintaining communal harmony in the turbulent times. 14 अगस्त 1982, बड़हिया, लखीसराय (बिहार) में जन्मे सुमन मिश्र सूफ़ीवाद के गंभीर अध्येता और कवि हैं । वह समय-समय पर भिन्न-भिन्न ज्ञान-अनुशासनों में सक्रिय रहे हैं, इसमें संगीत का भी एक पक्ष है । यह ध्यान देने योग्य है कि इन सभी स्रोतों ने सूफ़ीवाद के उनके अध्ययन को एक दुर्लभ मौलिकता दी है । उनका काम-काज कुछ प्रतिष्ठित प्रकाशन-स्थलों में प्रकाशित हो चुका है । वह रेख़्ता फ़ाउंडेशन के उपक्रम ‘सूफ़ीनामा’ से संबद्ध हैं । सूफ़ियों के संसार से संबंधित उनकी कुछ किताबें प्रकाशनाधीन हैं और कुछ पर वे काम कर रहे हैं ।
