About the Author:- R. W. Frazer (1854-1921) had an intimate knowledge of Sanskrit literature, spoke the Dravidian languages Tamil and Telugu, and was the author of a number of books on the subject of Indian literature. He was a lecturer in Telugu and Tamil at University college and the Imperial Institute. He was member of council, Royal Asiatic society.
